While it is true that the nightlife in Hua Hin does not rival Bangkok or Phuket, you can still have a great time after dark in Thailand’s premier beach resort. Hua Hin boasts a cool mix of local and tourist restaurants, night markets, bars, clubs, and entertainment venues for having fun once you’ve left the beach for the day. The area of Soi Bintabat Avenue, close to the Hilton Hua Hin Resort, is home to several western-style pubs and bars, and there is also a lot going on in Cha-Am. Hua Hin Night Market
The Thai night market is a must-visit attraction and the night market in Hua Hin is no exception. Hua Hin Night Market is packed with all manner of goods including handicrafts, clothes, souvenirs, electronics, and cheap gadgets. But the shopping is not the only reason to visit the Hua Hin Night Market. Many visitors come for the food alone, and you can also enjoy cocktails or beer from the many vans that serve their wares to thirsty travelers. Sasi Dinner Theater
If you want something a little different to do in the evening, then pay a visit to the Sasi Dinner Theater. The Theater is set within tropical gardens and you enjoy a seven-act performance along with your dinner. The theme is Thai cultural heritage and not only can you sample this through music and dancing, but the food itself. The menu is set and you can enjoy contemporary dance, musical performances, and martial arts as you dine.
Elephant Bar Drinks
Located inside the Centara Grand Beach Resort and Villas complex, Elephant Bar is a gorgeously restored, elegant colonial building with timber beams and floors, ceiling fans, and leather armchairs. There’s live jazz music most days and you can relax with a cocktail or two from the extensive list. Open from 10am to 1am every day.

Hua Hin Brewing Company
If you feel like dancing, or listening to some live music, head to the Hua Hin Brewing Company. This club is a lively location for DJs and live bands. The building is rustic and charming, and the menu is extensive – packed with pub favorites like steak and spare ribs. There is a wide selection of beers from locally brewed tipples to imported bottled beer. The club is open from 6pm to 2am. Check the listings to see what’s on.
Sunset Cocktails at the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin
The restored 19th-century McFarland House is part of the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin and it is the ideal place to soak up the atmosphere of the resort while enjoying some excellent sunset cocktails. This is an ocean-front bar so it has great views over the sea and the ambience is relaxed and fun. MacFarland House is open between 10.30am and midnight so make sure you don’t miss it when you visit Hua Hin.
Johnnie Walker’s Pub Live Music
A cool, laidback and fun place to be on a Hua Hin night. Johnnie Walker’s Bar plays host to live bands with an eclectic lineup of music including jazz, rock, soul, and blues. The menu is filled with snacks and bar food including nachos, burgers, and chicken wings, plus there’s a big screen for sports action and a great range of drinks.
Soi Bintabat Nightlife
The main area of Hua Hin dedicated to the nighttime is the Soi Bintabat avenue and the Poolsuk Road area. You’ll find a selection of beer bars, sports bars, and bars with girls. Some highlights include Mai Thai next to the Hilton hotel, Johnnie Walker’s Bar, and U Turn. The bars attract an expat crowd as well as locals and many have outdoor seating areas. These places heat up after 9pm so make a trip after dinner.
Cha-Am Nightlife
Cha-Am has a fair selection of bars and small karaoke lounges for having some fun in the evening. Walk around the area of the Soi Bus Stop and up from the beach and you’ll find somewhere to have a beer, although this area is not as lively as you would experience in Patong or Bangkok. Again, it is best to come here after 9pm at night.
Blue Angel Cabaret
Nightlife; Looking for the ladyboys on stage? They’re here in Hua Hin too – the Blue Angel Cabaret showcases the talents of these performers as they entertain tourists and locals alike.
