Nightlife Pattaya has an excellent reputation as one of the party places in Thailand. As the sun sets, the lights come on, and the bars and clubs open their doors wide. You’ll find plenty of spots for dancing, drinking, eating, and chilling out in Pattaya – and it’s not all about neon lights and beer. Pattaya also has its classier side with some top cocktail bars and boutique hotel restaurants. Here are some suggestions for a top night out in Pattaya.
1) Horizon Bar
The classy Horizon Bar at the Hilton Hotel is 34 floors up, providing tremendous views across Pattaya and beyond. It is, in our opinion, the best place in Pattaya to watch the sunset and enjoy some cocktails in peaceful surroundings. The music isn’t too loud, and the décor is stunning. Horizon Bar is great for after-beach or pre-club drinks in Pattaya.
2) Hard Rock Café Pattaya
Set on Beach Road, Hard Rock is another Pattaya institution that gets better every year. There are various outside terraces for cocktails, and there’s usually a house band and guests every night. Look out for the special events, parties, and offers – there is usually something cool going on at the Hard Rock.

3) Tiffany’s Cabaret Show
For nighttime entertainment with a twist, you can’t miss the Tiffany Show in Pattaya. This is certainly the best-known and most established ladyboy show in town. The dancers and performers are top-notch and decked out in a variety of glamorous costumes. The production values are also great, meaning this is always an enjoyable show with lots of laughs and cool music. You have to come here to see it – the Tiffany Show is a Pattaya establishment.
4) 808 Nightclub
808 Nightclub is one of the most popular nightspots in Pattaya, so you’re sure to find a crowd here. But the inside is split into different alcoves and levels so you can find some privacy. The music is loud and fun, and there are often themed parties and great drink promos. The separate bar overlooking Walking Street is good for when you need to chill out.
5) Pattaya Beer Garden
A slightly quieter option for Pattaya is a relaxed and laid-back place to start a Nightlife Pattaya out. You can get some cheap drinks, relax overlooking the ocean, and listen to some music. While not the most happening place in town, it is trendy in its own right.
6) Mixx Discotheque
Running down the list of more places to eat, drink, and dance in Pattaya is the Mixx disco, with its two separate clubs and free entry. Playing modern RnB and electronic music, Mixx often has internationally renowned DJs and always has a great atmosphere. It is usually busy right from opening time, and it’s a good place to come for a decadent night out.
7) The Pier Disco Club
Another Pattaya club classic, The Pier, draws crowds every night and has a range of international DJs playing live. The Pier is a classy place and attracts those looking to make a night of it in style. The dancers, music, lights, and lasers are all impressive, and the interior of the club is huge. Come here when you want to celebrate something special. It’s also on Walking Street.
8) [email protected] Design Hotel
The bar on the 25th floor of [email protected] Design Hotel is the place to be for cocktails and a chilled vibe. The infinity pool also sets the tone for the place, and it is a lovely bar to wind down and enjoy some quality time with friends or a partner.
9) Gulliver’s Walking Street – the Red Car Bar
Located on the popular Walking Street, the Red Car Bar is jam-packed every night with locals and tourists alike. This bar has a lively atmosphere, and there is always something going on. It’s not exactly the place for a quiet drink, but it’s a lot of fun. The central bar area is always busy, and there are a DJ booth and a stage for live music. Also, you’ll find pool tables and a dance floor so you can be as active as you like when you enjoy the nightlife in this traditional Pattaya place.
10) Club Insomnia
Clun Insomnia is one of the liveliest clubs in a vivacious town, and it plays a variety of fun and popular music. The iBar on the ground floor is also popular.
